what does it take to draw a tag in nevada?

but back to Nevada bucks,,,in general are the eastern units more big buck units than the northern units?or am I missing something?is central good?what units should I avoid as only small forky areas?ive been told that unit 51 is more small deer as the norm?unit 31 also marginal?

I have been applying for mostly northern units simply because they are closer and easier for me to scout. I dont think there are many bad hunts in Nevada but some will take more scouting then others.

I thought that areas 101-109 for deer isn't very good as its easy to draw and usually has leftovers even?unit 51 is also a easy draw,,,are there big bucks in those units or are they primarily forky type units like we primarily have up here in Oregon where 67% of all deer harvested are forkys,,right from odfw stats.im sure the smart ones hide out in remote country,but I would like a chance for a "big boy" when I eventually draw a tag down there?is 101-109 a area that you would commit 6 points to draw?as a 4th or 5th choice,that is the most likely choices a person would draw unless he was very lucky and drew a very low hunter number?

If you are not willing to work hard enough to get into the remote country in OR where you are pretty sure the big ones hang out what makes you think you don't have to get into the rugged and remote country of Nevada? Because that's where the big boys live here in Nevada as well. There are some monster bucks in 101-109 but they don't hang out next to the road.

why do you say im not willing to work hard?you do not even know me?ive hunted over 30 days this season from 3 hrs before daylight to hiking out as late as midnight?? but you got to go where the big ones are and frankly some Oregon units simply do not have big deer on public land.....Ive done pretty fair this year and my freezer is beyond full,,,though I got all my critters this year in Utah and Colorado so far.Im mainly looking at all the Nevada stats and mrs,ect for trying to pull a tag where there are big deer?though draw odds go way down.
