What do you know about these quilts?

I loved using my enlightened equip quilt elk season 2013. It really simplified / lightened my sleep system and improved my night sleep over a mummy bag because I have wide shoulders and like to toss and turn.

I'm seriously considering a quilt. I don't like being constricted in a sleeping bag.
Me too, good find Luke. I end up just using the sleeping bag as a blanket anyway, but something made to use like that is mucho bettero.

I don't mean to cut into these guys business, but I might ask Grandma to make one for me. Fill it with down and get some tougher fabric than her other quilts. I generally go it alone, so I don't mind the pink floral patterns, but knowing her she will find fabric with baseballs or something on it because I will always be 12.

I really had no idea this thread was going to have this much activity but that's a good thing. I am really impressed with these quilts and this is probably going to be the way I'm going to go for my trip

I believe you will really like it. A cheap blue foam under pad is all you basically need below you. A TI Goat bivy around it is a nice addition too.

Update: I just used a 20 degree for three nights up at 9k feet elev. with a hammock. It really worked wonderful. Temp control is very easy.
