wondering what you all carry in your bow repair kit for backcountry hunts? Working on getting a small repair kit together to throw in my pack for the upcoming season!
Thank you!

like said above, allen wrench and leatherman is allways with me. also if you use tubing for sight bring more of that. I always bring judo tips too, makes for fast finding of arrow after killing birds.

Since we always seem to be 5-6 hours away from any bow shop where we hunt I carry a few things with me. I leave these things in the truck and don't pack them in with me. I used to bring a extra bow but no longer do. In fact since 1988 I have never had to do a bow repair in the field or use a backup bow. I just feel better knowing I have a few things with me and dont have to waste a day driving to find a open bow shop for a simple fix.
1. A broke in set of strings and cables with peep d loop silencers etc. Just put it on and rezero and hunt.
2. A SYNUNM PORTABLE BOW PRESS works with beyond parallel bows as well as regular limb bows.
3. Wax,Multitool, set of Allen Wrenches, Extra serving w/ serving tool, Tube of Super glue gel, and a lighter.
4. Extra broadhead Blades and extra arrows.
5. Extra D-Loop string. I do carry a extra piece of D-Loop string on my bow just in case.

Having an extra release is never a bad idea either, especially if your hunting solo...had a friend pack into the hills a few years back and was into elk immediately after setting up camp..went to pull back on a bull, and release was broke; he didnt shoot, and made an attempt to fix it which didnt work, so he tried shooting bare finger and couldnt be accurate enough to be willing to shoot at an animal..It was a full couple days of waste to get back to anywhere where a release was available..since then an extra release will always be in my pack as well.

If I am having a camp that I can drive to, I have a spare release, sight (used but still good), string, D loop material, rest, arrows, broadheads/blades, multi tool, wax and allen wrench set. As for the bow press, I've used a pair of ratchet straps in a pinch to change strings. Backpacking I would probably just carry what I do when ever I hunt. D loop material, Wax, broadheads, spare release and allen wrench set,

The extra release is a must and I consider it one of the most essential pieces I always carry with me. In fact it is always in my pack even in the off season. ;)
