Just wondering how much snow is up high in the Burgdorf area will be heading out for the second year and want to make sure we got all the right gear with or need to go to plan b or f

Just wondering how much snow is up high in the Burgdorf area will be heading out for the second year and want to make sure we got all the right gear with or need to go to plan b or f

We were just up at cold meadows for the last 4 days. 6500-7000 feet was a ground covering of snow. Wednesday we got snow all day at 7500 to 8000 feet, it ended up laying about 6-8 inches through the day. The pilot out of Mcall said it was supposed to be nice weather through the weekend. Temperatures were in the 30s to low 40s during the day and mid 20s at night. We stopped at root ranch on the way through and they said the rut was pretty well over last weekend. We bugled in the mornings and never got any responses. Hope that helps.

with exception of a few peaks most of idaho mtns only have a few inches. 8" on smily mtn in SE corner seems to be the most snow so far. next week or so looking like pretty good weather

Yep that is a for sure after last year i need to take alot more pics than i did.

just to help get your blood pumping , this buck was killed a couple years ago outside of mcall. no, not mine. friend of a friend of a friend.lol.

That is a stud. We will be looking for bulls but I would not be mad to get a bunch of pictures of a brute like that
