A while back I had a pair of Cabelas Outfitters Wool Pants (and Jacket) that came with a "Dry-Plus" waterproof lining. I have since outgrown them (too fat) and need to get a new/bigger pair. I loved these pants because of the fact they were waterproof even though some complained online that the dry-plus lining was a little noisy (which I was never bothered by). I see now that Cabales still sells these Outfitter wool pants but that they do not seem to come with the dry-plus lining anymore but come with a windsheer membrane to keep the wind out. Calebas does have another type of wool pant that has the dry-plus lining but these are not the same. I am not worried about wind, but want to find a wool waterproof pant. I have looked all over and cannot find anything waterproof online anywhere else? Any suggestions?
If I can't find any waterproof ones, I will likely just buy a pair of Filson Mackinaw bibs which is great wool but not lined.
