Figured this would get everyone's blood flowing. All these bucks spend the entire hunting season on their alfalfa field with about 2-300 other does and small bucks.

The worst part is that they know they are safe because they will sit there at 40 yds without a care in the world. i would hunt all season for a buck like that haha.

Those would not happen to be sitting in some pivots surrounded by sage in all directions in a desert valley? Maybe same people that own that own some boundary surrounding a mountain in northern washoe.... Would they :)

Yes casey ;) they all happen to be on a field surrounded by desert in eastern washoe valley. IKIC these were taken yesterday, most were hard horned, ill post some more pics tomorrow, my guess is there were 10-12 170+ bucks.

Them jokers moved down to sparks from where they were released.
Yeah I've heard of them being seen in the hills around Wingfield but not down in the neighborhoods like this. They had to cross the Truckee and I-80 to get over there from the Virginia Range. Crazy stuff.

Holy cow! I was just thinking how great those domesticated bucks were and then this great desert ram in town! And to think they say Nevada is a wasteland.:)

That sheep in town is awesome! Kinda neat to see sheep and huge bucks right around a big city like Reno, thanks for sharing!
