Washington unit 130

Im looking for elk and Mule deer in Unit 130 for Washington early archery season. I know its a 3 Point min or antlerless for Mule deer but im not sure if there are any public places i can go. has anyone had experience hunting in Eastern WA im not looking for gates to go to just areas that are accessable.

From what I know there is very little public land and what there is gets hunted pretty hard. Most of this part of E WA is private land and you will mostly find whitetails. there are a few places with mule deer and elk but not alot. Why do you want to only hunt 130?

its just a unit close to home that i can get to after i get out of class. and ya your right most of Eastern Washington is private land beause of all the farms and the insane amount of trust land.

I think your best bet would be to try to find a land owner that will let you hunt. Most are alot more receptive to bow hunting then rifle.
