Vortex optics warranty

I have to send the eye piece of my razor 65 mm spotter. Right out of the box it has small black spot that is really annoying especially at lower magnifications. Just curious if anyone has had to send in their optics for warranty repair and how long the turn around was? Thanks

I have never had to send anything to them but last season I lost a cap for my new bino's. I sent them an email asking what I needed to do and within a couple days I had a new cap in the mail. Couldn't have been happier with the response, granted it was only a cap, but from others I have heard from the response has been the same for all warranty issues.

My brother bought a new pair of binos and the first day in the field he had a problem with the eyepiece he took it back to the store and he got a brand new pair.
