I'm just going to be getting in to turkey hunting this year. I was wondering what the best calls and decoys would be during the Utah general season turkey hunt. I'm trying to keep it inexpensive. Thanks in advance.

To start out I'd go with a good box call or a slate call. The box call is probably the easiest of the calls to quickly learn how to make effective turkey sounds - especially the yelp. Try and find a cd and/or dvd on calling and try to mimic the sounds made. As you develop and learn as a turkey hunter you can move into mouth calls. As far as decoys go, I'd go with a portable hen and jake decoy to get you started. Turkey hunting is fun, but can be trying at times - especially the general season because many turkeys have already been called to and hunted. Good luck.
