Does anyone have any information about the plateau area of Utah for antelope? I have an archery tag for there and I'm looking for any info I can get.

I also have a archery tag for that unit. The last time (and only time) was 3 years ago and the DNR transplanted about 800 antelope out of the unit, made for a pretty hard hunt. The unit is big. I found most of the Antelope in the quakies and pine trees. Hoping this year it does not rain for days like last time, there was water everywhere. If you look around the areas of Loa, and Biknell you should be able to find some antelope. If you are in the area the first week of the hunt I will be there in a black F150, good luck!

Thanks for the help. I havnt been able to find much on the area. I will be there the first week of September. I'm not going to have an opportunity to do any scouting before I go. So I will be setting up trail cameras and pop up blinds for the first 2 days and doing some spot and stalk. Let me know how your hunt goes and best of luck.

Musket Man, it made for a fun hunt with a bow, you could actually hide a little in the trees, but man they can still see very well.

The most popular area for antelope on the Plateau Unit is Parker Mountain. It's a big area and to the west of Bicknell and Loa with plenty of public land to go around. There should be plenty of goats to chase. Nothing like WY, but they should be there for you and make for a good hunt.
