61 is thick with wolves and grizzlies but there are also some great bulls in there. Most of the area is public land with good access. During the season, the elk are in some really rough country way back in the wilderness. With 61 bordering 58 and having a lot of wilderness area, you can be sure there are some bruisers in there. My father-in-law was chasing a 370 around there last season. I grew up hunting in 61 and it's not a place where a hunter often gets lucky. If you get a good bull, chances are you worked your butt off for it.
