Unit 39

So anyone have any tips on unit 39? I haven't had the chance to scout this year because I'm deployed however I'm returning soon and hoping to spend a couple weeks in 39 for Mule deer then hunt the late 39A elk season. Haven't hunted in Idaho before and planning on doing this solo, so any help would be appreciated.

I hunted 39 Early Rifle a couple years ago and it was tough as hell, but with all the fires that have been in that area it should make glassing more doable. I hunted around the Trinity's, I wouldn't be able to advise you on any certain location in the unit. But from what I hear the South Eastern edge is the best.
