I'm looking at purchasing an over the counter mule deer tag for unit 23. I have a friend who owns a cabin near Luna, so I'm trying to stick around that area; around the northern part of the unit. Does anyone have any knowledge of this area? Any success, tips, tricks, or advice? I've never hunted out of state before, much less in NM. Or if there's another area around Luna, that works too!
