Hello everyone! I'm new here and just checking things out looks pretty cool, I'm hunting 1st season rifle elk in unit 19 starting the 15, was wondering if anyone has been up in that area and seen anything or heard anything? Was archery hunting a few weeks ago up in 18 and we didn't hear any elk bugle, hoping they are talking bye now haha. Thanks for any info and have yourselfs an great evening.

did you have any luck? I was just north of you for 2nd and didn't see any elk, but did see some Muleys. My kids have doe and cow tags and we get to expand their area to 8, 9, 19 and 191 for a few weeks. Did you see anything?
We seen a couple decent sized herds of elk but no Bulls that we could see. Seen maybe 4 or 5 deer, and we also seen 3 moose. It was super windy the entire season up there it kinda threw a wrench in things if you know what I mean. Very good area!
