Trapping and kids

My son in law has his kids out trapping after they asked to set some traps. Only have 8 or so traps next to some ag ground near their house but have caught 5 since December 1.

Yesterday was a 2 coyote day.

That’s awesome. I really want to get into trapping. My dad used to trap quite a bit when I was very young, but I don’t remember much about the sets. Now that he’s gone, I gotta figure it all out. I feel it’s something that I can get the kids involved with and have a lot of fun!

Great to see kids out trappingIt’s very rewarding when you show up to a set to see something in it. I started trapping 10 years ago and have learned a lot since.

That’s awesome! I started trapping at 10 and have always loved it. It teaches kids so much about the outdoors and about animals that many folks don’t even realize are in their backyards.
I love it when kids take an interest in it!
