One from me. With the hot temps upon us please remember that conditioning can be very hazardous to your dogs during the summer. While they all need it, "roading" a dog in 90 degree heat is just plain stupid! Train & Condition in the early morning or late evening hours and/or condition via water. Most gun dogs love the water and romping around in a lake, stream, river or pond is not only great exercise it's fun for fido as well. For the waterfowler this time of year is vital for honing skills your dog will need during the fall. Keep it fun, keep it short and enjoy the time together.
