Anyone have some info on those units? Elk distribution, Hunting pressure, ability to hike away from pressure, grizzlys? Thinking of one of these units for archery, from the looks of things 90 and 91 has some grizzlys, at least in the northern portion, elk numbers seem good. Any info anyone has would be much appreciated.

I've hunted 104 for years, Archery would be the only way I would hunt this unit. The rifle hunt is a joke in my opinion. Make sure you've got stock to haul you around or your built like Cam Hanes, it's huge country, and there are a bunch of people that can get back in there during the hunt especially the rifle season but there is a ton of elk in it.

Lol, I had to google Cam Hanes to figure out who he was, a couple of years ago Id have given Cam a run for his money, but Im getting old  Ill make sure Ill be in tip top shape, Ive packed 3 bulls out of the Selway/Frank Church doesnt get anymore rugged than that in the lower forty-eight. Probably looking at spiking in a couple of miles, leave the road hunters behind, I like what I see steepness wise and the elevation isnt too bad.

If you decide to go in 104 hit me up with a PM, I've got a buddy that lives in the area and we've spent many full moons in that country chasing elk!! I've only ever had cow tags but he's a resident so he get's the big $$$$ discount for a bull tag;)

It's great elk country and during the stick and string season a guy can pull away from the crowds!
