This is my 2,500th post since joining Eastmans a little over 4 years ago. I value the friendships I've built over the years and hope that I've contributed to the cause of others in a positive way that others have done for me over the past 4 years. I log-in periodically throughout the day to check-in to see what my friends are doing. I've also built a few friendships outside of this forum due to meeting other like-minded guys on here. I miss some of the others that have left the forum, some not so much. It's like one big outdoor family. There is the core group of guys who post throughout the day, maybe 50, and others that rotate in on various schedules. Thanks for giving me a 'virtual' hangout worthy of hanging out in and allowing me to be a part of it.
Here's to another 2,500.

Well said, I feel much like yourself. Great place to shoot the ***t, get a laugh now and then and learn about what we all love.

That's all fine and dandy, so long as the way points to the little rock with the small white spot by the big tree in that one basin remain secret...

LOL- you guys are killing me! With a cow elk tag already in hand this year, I hope to put my first elk on the ground. 3rd time is a charm right! First two opportunities were with a bow, but this time I also plan to have my 7 mag as backup. With everything I've learned on this forum, I was into multiple elk everyday. Unfortunately, I was unable to loose an arrow due to one reason or another. However, both hunts were awesome! Can't wait to post pics of my elk by the little rock by the tree in the 'secret' basin.

2500 posts! That's amazing Bonecollector. What's amazing about this forum is hunters & fishermen who will answer questions, give there two cents or just have a little fun with someone. In the end we're All enjoying what the man above created, some of us are trying just to take that bigger bull or buck! Congrats Bonecollector!

Amazing milestone, congratulations
This is a great site and happy to be here. I got pulled over from a now dead site by JimP.
I don't contribute a lot but comment when I can.
Without members of this site I wouldn't have been able to pull off an Alaska trip with my son this coming August. For that I'm truly grateful.
