Our summer monsoon season is going strong. We had 1/2" of rain at my place last night. Archery hunters better be prepared for wet weather!

We've been getting it good also along the I-70 corridor. Glenwood Canyon has had flash flood alerts about once a week. HWY 82 from Glenwood to Aspen has been shut down a couple of times due to mud slides, I'm not sure just how it was yesterday afternoon but there was a flash flood alert for the area just south of Glenwood. Last night I got a pretty good storm that came through.
The Dolores River Canyon between Paradox and Gateway is getting hammered also. It separates Unit 60 & 61. Also the General Silverton/Telluride area.
Got hammered again last night with another 1/2" of rain. Lots of thunder & lightning. The mountains around here like in my last post got a bunch too. We need it, but more forecast next week.

Wow....a storm cell just passed over us and thunder, lightning, hail and torrents of rain for about 15 minutes! 1/2" of rain in about 15 minutes!!!
