Someone stole my yamaha tw 200 out of my front yard today. I paid cash for that bike and in a split second someone took it away from me. They did it during the daylight today while the wife and I was at work. WOW!!!
Sorry, my Honda 230 and KTM 250 was stolen from my garage while I was home. They pushed the KTM 1/2 mile and were too stupid to find the choke so they abanded it and my mt050 coat. I got really close to catching them later. That Honda was a sub for a cow horse, never got it back and spent a bunch on reward adds.
Maybe you can find a Honda Fat Cat to replace your stolen Yamaha. I have two Fat Cats, autoclutch you know.
Man, I feel your pain... I hate a thief. A few years back my farmhouse got broken into, and the thieves took a bunch of my hunting clothes, fishing rods, an ATV, and my brand new Hoyt.. The guys ended up getting caught, and I got some of my stuff back, but they tossed my Hoyt into the Grand River...
That sucks. Hopefully you had time to get insurance on it; or your homeowners covers it since it was in your yard. I have hunting property that is very remote and I have been broken into twice. Just glad they didn't trash the place. They even stole the food out of the fridge.
Was the bike registered? If it was a non registered bike, depending on your insurance carrier, you should be able to claim it under the contents portion of your homeowners... Subject to your home deductible of course.
Good luck with the insurance claim...usually your insurance only pays the insuring company. Fink, I work in Blue Springs, you live in town or out side of town.
I know where one if those has been sitting on hwy 55 since last weekend. Saw it Monday on my way from McCall to Boise. Yesterday it was still there. Probably not yours if yours only went missing the 30th. If however it went sooner, could be.
