Sticker points

Pulled my trail cam card earlier this week. A buck showed up with a unique sticker point . I thought it was the same buck from last year, but comparing photos revealed that the point was on the opposite side. It stems from the web at the main branch making a typical 4 point main frame a 5 point. Question is can sticker points show up on opposite side from one year to the next? Got some amazing horn growth going for first week in June. I'll see if I can figure out how to get photos posted. Be patient, not too computer savvvvy....

I'm not saying this is the same buck but I know that the points can "move" just like you stated. There's a giant bull elk (430-440) that I posted about earlier this year that had a nontypical point between his 4th and 5th on the right side this year. Two years ago he had a nontypical point in the same location but on the left side. He also had a 16" drop 2 years ago that is only a 3/4" bump this year.

Wow I saw a couple whities this morning and I thought they Had a lot of growth but nothing compared to yours!
Yea we're coming out of a mild winter and a fairly warm spring. Deer were on summer range early and there is lots of feed. I'm a little concerned that we are in the second or third year drought. Some of the springs that normally run year round are dry now. Hope the feed holds out. So far we have been blessed with good rains, which have helped. Time will tell.
