Nice, I haven't got into crappie like that in a few years. The high waters here have everything screwed up right now.

I take it for granted because we catch them like that about every weekend...There is just a tremendous amount of crappies in the lakes we fish.

We have more fish in my freezer than I could ever eat. I give a lot of fish away. People really appreciate it. It helps open doors for me when it comes to getting hunting spots, favors, etc etc. lol

I attached a picture of what I call a good one. We have caught them a heck of a lot bigger than this one.

We've had a good spring here in Minnesota, too. My 10 year old got his 4th turkey opening morning. 13 year old got his 7th bird second evening. Helped my buddy get his bird first evening of second season, and my wife, who has never hunted in her life, decided she wanted to turkey hunt and got a jake. Finally after getting everybody tagged out, I had time to go whack a stubborn tom after working him for over an hour. Got a lot of crappies also, including several 15" or better.IMG_0201.jpgIMG_0030.jpgIMG_0253.jpgIMG_0263.jpgIMG_0269.jpg

We've only had a huntable population of turkeys for about 6 years, but we got in on the ground level on some good properties, and the numbers have exploded. I used to watch turkey hunting on tv, and wasn't impressed, but now the whole family is addicted.

Yep, that tv show hunting is pretty bland, isn't it? I have yet to see any big time show come to PA to film a turkey hunt. Whole different ballgame.

Fact.

I kill turkeys in other states and just chuckle....Lets just say I earned everything I killed in PA.

In PA its illegal to kill a turkey in the spring without the aid of a call.

Stalking is Illegal during spring seasons.

how'd you catch them catfish? Water has been so dang high here we haven't been able to get on the river. Suppose to crest almost as bad as the 93 flood.
