Spring bear controlled hunt results

Not sure if this means there out yet. Different look for sure. I clicked on controlled hunts on my profile. Says my app is still active but under status it says “not selected”. So looks like I didn’t draw. Hopefully better luck to the rest of you that applied.

I think the new setups that ID and WA went to are more smart phone, or any device, friendly...they’re pretty slick once you use em two or three times. NOT SELECTED

Most of state is otc. A lot of the northern part has draw hunts and in some of those cases I think its for extra tags

Unit 1 has a fall controlled hunt, that's it for up north. The spring controlled hunts are for units 22/31 and 32/32a(SW Idaho). Open country with lots of bears and some big ones, no dogs or bait in the spring though on the controlled hunts. It is a second bear tag opportunity which we don't have otherwise down here in southern Idaho. Have to go north to shoot 2

northern is otc and most units are a 2 bear unit, I never understood why there where controlled hunts for bear. Turkey, hell you can buy 5 tags a year here. Kill all the god danged nuisance birds please. If you can't tell I am not a turkey fan, stupid birds that shit everywhere.
