Hey all I decided to post up here and see what kind of info some of you Wyoming experts can give me. I know the draw should be happening soon and that Wyoming operates on a leftover system. Anyways my question is, do any of you guys have a good suggestion as to what areas to look into for a good leftover doe hunt?
I have been applying to Colorado since I was able and that has me sitting on 10 points waiting for a buck tag. I have really gotten antsy and really want to put some goat meat in the freezer and shoot a doe this year. I live in Fort Collins so something in the southern part of the state (even around Cheyenne) would be ideal. I know a lot will depend on the leftover draw list but any information you can provide me with would be great. I would like to kill one with my rifle, but I would be ok with a muzzleloader hunt and just need an area where public ground or access are not a problem.
