Southern NV buck

My son took this buck last Oct. in a very tough to draw unit. We found him in a very unlikely spot. Perhaps he got tired of the 5 guide trucks going past every morning and evening in the higher terrain. They didn't find whatever buck they were looking for while we were there because there was no shooting heard.
We found this guy way out in the flats on a big pile of rocks, zero trees in the area and about 2 miles from water.
It was quite satisfying driving past the guide who followed us down into the low stuff with the buck in the back of our truck.

That had to be pretty satisfying when the guides saw that buck in the back of your pick up.
