Well I was able to get my 10 year old son his first bird this year. First day of the season we set up on three big toms, but they wouldn't leave their 10 girlfriends they had around them. The following day we set up in another area, and it was a very quiet morning. About 10 oclock we had two jakes charge into the decoys. We ended up spooking them trying to get my son set up for a shot. We were running a double decoy set up. A setup out in the field and another behind us in the woods. Well I kept calling and they ended up coming in behind us in the woods. Gave us an easy 25 yard shot and the rest was history.
