I have a year and a half old GSP and finally saved up enough money to send him off. I've been searching for a good respectable trainer but having a hard time finding one in SoCal. Does anyone know of one, any help is appreciated!

Why are you limiting your area for a trainer to SoCal? It's getting hard to find the right kind of area there to train dogs. I have had several dogs trained years ago (flushers) and believe if you are going to spend the $$$$, get the best, don't limit yourself.

Just my opinion.

Feel a little safer with my dog closer to home. I'm looking for a field trainer, I mostly hunt quail and dove.

Don't know where your located, but if your close to Norco, you can try Linda Nunez she has trained two of my buddies Springer Spaniels and does a great job. She used to work for Game Land Kennels, but since they closed when the owner passed away, she started her own business. I'll PM you her phone number in case you want to talk to her personally.
