Probably getting their second dose now! Snowing good in Gunnison tonight. Crestedbutte got some good snow today and night. Chainlaw was in effect for Eisenhower tunnel. I am sure Steamboat is getting some and probably not there first of the season.

Bleu, from what you are seeing this year would you consider this an early fall or just some early storms and it will return to normal soon? I have a third season deer tag in GMU 68, 681, and 682. I have never hunted there before but know that area is weather dependent.

You had me looking for 682! I have a laminated blow up of GMU's that does not list 682, so I had to look in the brochure. Our southern mountains generally get most of their snow in the Late winter and early Spring. That said, what is most of the snow? You may have 50 inches waiting to receive 100 in the Spring. This year has been wetter then last and Denver might get some snow Friday if it holds true. Usually when Denver gets snow the hills get little. I have had forecasts for 70 degrees and get 15 inches of snow during season. One squall that snowed for 5 hours. It was gone in 2 days. I think it will be more of a normal winter for snow this year. Good luck guy's!
