I don't have any experience with their packs, but have a pair of down sleeping bags that my dad bought in the early 80's that are still exceptional. And relatively light weight even compared to many of today's new ultra light bags. Also use some of their dry bags that where bought in the early 90's. They make quality gear that lasts. I'd assume their packs would be good as well.

Old thread here... but Ill leave a post for any future wanderers. I have the bounty 4500. It works great, tough, super comfy, not a bad design. Would i buy it again new? No, Id get a kuiu. Would I take it if its all i had or found it for a steal? Absolutely. It is a great pack. Theres just stronger, lighter, similar priced stuff out there now. Its slightly higher weight is due to being built like a tank. Ill replace it with a kuiu.... in about 15 years when I wear it out... maybe... thing is tough.

Update to my post... still a great pack but mine tore around the hip belt from the plastic inserts. I was bummed until I looked up their warranty - lifetime against manufacturer defect. I tore a different part of the pack which was my fault and they sent me material to patch it! They have excellent customer service and I have no doubt my pack will be fixed and back soon.
