Does anyone have any experience with these? Do you think they are suitable for an early November Montana elk/deer hunt?

Thanks for the link ScottR. That's comforting to know since I just purchased a pair!! They are so comfortable I may purchase a pair in "woodsmoke" for non hunting winter use (snowshoeing and XC skiing).

I wore the 90% pants on my recent hunt. The temps were 30s-40s but the wind blew constantly 25-40 mph. I wore them over a pair of Smartwool mid-weight merino wool (250 wt?) and they worked like a charm. I highly recommend them.

I have both the mountain pant and 90% pants. My experience is unless it is really cold I tend to always use my mountain pant with base layer and insulation layer. This is a great combo for me that seems to work from mild to cold weather. It blocks the wind well too. I have worn my 90% pants more in November-December hunts for sure. Both are great pants.
