Hello everyone.

I'm considering getting a SIRT training gun for improving my handgun skills at home and would like feedback from people who have used it. How realistic is the trigger feel compared to a real firearm, and does it help improve muscle memory and accuracy over time?

Can it effectively replace dry fire practice, or is it just a supplement?

Also, are there any safety concerns or common mistakes beginners should avoid when using it indoors?

I am also curious about which model offers the best value for consistent training without requiring expensive accessories or frequent maintenance issues over time use

I have been shooting competition bulls eye pistol for 25 years . I personally don't think anything (other than than actual practice) is better than dry firing. I put a 1" round orange stickem on the wall in my shop and dry fire for 15 or 20 minutes 3 or 4 times a week.

I have an average of 590 out of a possible 600, so it must be helping some.
