Shooting range in Laramie

I'm headed up to visit the son at school in the next few days. I got a load I need to test and chrono out to 400 yards. Any recommendations ?

I have fresh jalapeno/cheddar elk summer sausage to trade for access to a field with a good backstop also

We have a rifle range in Laramie up on North 9 th street or Rogers Canyon road. They are open on saturdays for public shooting, $10. Good range with 100 yd and long range shooting. Covered benches for 100 yd shooting.
You should be able to shoot out to 600 yds there . Go out early in the day to avoid the wind. Some state sections north of town you could set up in to shoot also. Shoot me a PM if you can't find a spot. I'll be on til Wednesday then we leave for another elk camp setup.

Good thing you decided not to come for the Oregon game weekend. I bet he knows about The Library already.

We were there during the Wyoming/Oregon game weekend. Laramie was a circus, had to stay in Cheyenne because no motels had any vacancy. Still had a fun goat hunt.
