If you are interested in Nv for Rocky Mt Big horns take a close look at the units this year. There will be a new unit that has never been hunted before till this year. NDOW is opening this never hunted before unit due to the illness that has killed off most of our sheep herds except in this area. Just FYI

I don't see anything in the regs about this hunt for non-residents. Will there be a resident tag only in this area?

Nevada has more wild sheep than any other state except Alaska. The Sheep Show in Reno over the winter is the place to get the latest information. I was surprised to learn that we have 12,000 sheep in the State. The Province of Alberta only has around 6,000. The greatet threat to wild sheep in North America is definitely communicable diseases like pneumonia from domestic herds.
