Took a walk behind the house on Saturday, to look for some sheds.. I saw this one from about 50 yards away or so, across the creek, so I stopped, got my camera ready, and waited to see how it would unfold with the dog. About 30 seconds after I saw it, she ran by the area and ran past the shed. As she got down wind of it, she picked up the scent, and hit the brakes, circling back to it. She messed with it, before picking it up, and then she looked at me. I got excited, she got excited, and then she swam it across the creek back to me.

I was pretty stoked. She's not worlds best shed dog, but she's fun to walk through the woods with.... Until she pushed me in the creek about an hour later.

That's awesome!! I have a dog coming in a couple of months. That's going to be one of our training efforts for sure!! Thanks for posting that up.

Very cool. I'm taking mine to a honey hole for sheds soon. Hope to find a big non typical if they haven't been picked already. I love it when the dogs find them.

This is in training for sheds
