Well, I finally did it and registered here on the forums. A few friends recommended that I come on over here from the forum that I am on now that is slowly going downhill.

A little about myself. I am from Colorado and Utah and have hunted quite a bit in both. Both elk and deer along with just about anything else that you can. I also hunt javelina in Arizona and plan on a coues deer hunt this December down there. Last year I was able to take a safari trip over to South Africa and managed to bag a few Safari Club book animal and a couple more. I also went up to British Colombia 4 years ago on a grizzly hunt but in 10 days all we saw was one grizzly and he was 578 yards away in a very small clearing so I didn't take the shot, but as the days go by I still think that I should of taken it but I just didn't want to risk it.

I hunt with archery, muzzle loaders, rifles, pistols, shotguns, and sling shots. Right now my go to rifle is a .340 Weatherby mag shooting 225grain Barnes TTSX bullets at 3000fps. For my coues deer hunt in Arizona I be packing a .25-06 Weatherby Vangard with a Leupold VX3 4.5-14 scope on it shooting hand loads of 100grain Barnes TTSX bullets. I need to work on the load this summer. My favorite muzzle loader is my Thompson Center Renegade .54 shooting 430 grain maxi balls.

J.P., Nice introduction, welcome to the forum. You may need to come up to Alaska and take home a grizzly from here. Ours are lots better than those Canadian bears, ha!

AKaviator, I hear what you are saying but those Alaskan bears cost too dang much for this poor hunter to finance another trip for them. But I would love to. I only have to win the lottery or PCH contest to do it.

I took a lot of ribbing on another forum about my Canadian trip with another member telling me of how much more I could shoot if I would of only of gone to Africa, I found out last year and hopefully will be able to go back another time. I still need a warthog for my wall.
