At least for deer anyway. I drew a unit 38 4th season buck tag. Never been to the unit or know anything about it. It was either this or don't hunt mule deer this year... Anyone with GPS coordinates to great deer hunting in this unit, please send them via PM!

I've hunted the unit a few times for OTC archery elk. Every single time I could have shot a dandy buck in velvet. 4th season however is new to me. There isn't a whole lot of public in the unit but 4th season you might not have too much company. There are some really high peaks in the are which tells me those bucks will be pushed down into the lower areas. Send me a PM, I will tell you where I have seen some nice deer.

Its a great area i grew up right there in golden. There is a lot of private in this area but to hunt during 4th will be a great hunt for you.Tthis range can and will get pounded with the snow up high and and push the deer around more we have always seen some great deer in this area South west of rollensville we have got into them there just watch your private areas up there.

I drew a unit 29 deer tag for muzzleloader! I have never hunted 29 before and wanted to go mule deer hunting, if anyone has hunted 29 and can steer me in the right direction or give me a pointer or two the help would be appreciated.

29 boarders 38. With your tag you probably received a letter from the DOW explaining the problems with hunting 29, the private property and the tree huggers. 29 is mostly private as well, and heavily populated. I would suggest focusing on Caribou flats, and some of the high peaks above treeline. Stay away from town at all costs.
