Scope options for a 6.5-284 Norma, plan to shoot longer ranges out to 600 yards

What scope would you suggest for something like this? I really like the leupold LRT in mark 4, mainly because I can get my hands on it at cost. The vortex HD scopes intrigue me because of fit and finish and I love my vortex spotting scope. The zeiss are great scopes but I think they have crazy dials and tactical capabilities. always been a swaro fan but they too make a very hard to understand tactical scope. What do you guys suggest? I plan to spend at least $1,000.

I am new to the long range stuff with ballistic turrets. I have made plenty of shots using hold over on my scopes now. I would love a 50MM scope, 4.5-14 or 5-20-50, weight is a little factor but nothing too dramatic for me. Max budget is probably $2,500 but hate to go that high unless its real necessary. If I can get a great scope for under $1,500 Im happy

Vortex viper is what I put on mine. You can order turrets for it. Its an awesome scope.

Luepold for mid costs or Nightforce for the high end Vortex for the lower end.

I have a 308 Norma. It's a great gun. I honestly didn't know the Norma was made in other calibers.

While I have owned many Leupold VX-3s and Mark 4s that I felt performed well, if you have your kind of budget, I would scratch that option due to tunneling and variable eye relief.

The Nightforce NXS series are awesome scopes. The set the standard for durability and mechanical reliability.

However, The $2000 Vortex Razor HD 5-20X50 is just as reliable and tough as a Nightforce NXS, and has the bonus of better optical performance.

For $1300 ($1500 if you want illumination), the scope to beat is the SWFA SS HD 5-20X50.

At your max budget, I strongly suggest you look at the Premier Reticles Light Tactical line. That scope is top shelf, relatively lightweight, and is well suited to your uses.

I have the a 6.5 x 284 and put a Nightforce 5.5-22 x 50 and am very happy with it. Nightforce makes a great product and the dials are very easy to read and turn. Super clear optics and tough as nails.
It seems to be the perfect scope for my set up.
