I've also heard Red Butte and Yellow Butte are good areas for elk and deer.

Anyone heard anything about Pilger Mountain or Elk Mountain?

I grew up on the wyo side of elk mtn. There are a lot of elk there but it is hit and miss. They run down into the private areas quite a bit. There is a lot of private ground also. They are up there quite a bit early in the season but after that it is mostly private land.

I have some ideas if anyone is looking for some. I didn't spend a lot of time up there but was along the edge quite a bit and also helped an old codger with an extrication job. Not nearly as bad as mine was thankfully.
