Rolled the dice on Montana

Has anyone heard if the big game combo licenses drew and if there are any leftovers after the draw? Have a backup plan but put some time in on research for Elk. I saw that these tags have not sold out in like 4 years, so fingers crossed!

I think the results came out today.. From what I've always heard was they (FW&P) always has excess tags for OTC purchase for non-residents.

2000 excess elk combos available in early May, all other sold out.

So this appears to be available first come first serve on May 8th for $858??? That is only for general elk tag, no deer combo left.

That's the word and I agree very very surprising. I am bummed but am holding on to some optimism that some big game combos will be out for sale in may.

I haven't seen anything about surplus big game combo tags. Is that correct, may 8th?? Can't find anything on it!!

I spoke with G&F contact and in-fact the Big Game Combo was sold out according to her, as was the deer combo.

Do you know if there will be any elk combos left?? Don't really care what license I get, as long as I can get out in the mountains!!
