Anyone have any info on this area? I had a former work client who hunted this area a few years back. I know you need alot of PP's to hunt here, especially unit 10. I have 3? 4? somewhere areound there PP's for mule deer. I am pretty open to hunting anywhere, but am curious about this area. They shot good bucks....170"-180", and saw some in the 190" and above range. I didnt get an exact location from him (kinda tight lipped.....which was understandable)..........and I no longer work in that company and lost contact with him.

I admit I dont know much about Colorado hunting. I will need to do some more research. I think unit 10 takes about 15 pp for a rut tag! Wow. But I think they have earlier seasons that are easier to draw.

I am also open for some suggestions. Just doing some long term planning. It will be a good 3-4 years at a minimum.....before I would even be thinking seriously about a colorado mule deer hunt. Not sure if I want to wait till 15 pp's......but if there was a decent hunt in the 8-10 pp range.........

Thanks in advance for any info!

Luke

I do know some about that area. Lots of oil/gas drilling up there. Also some pretty good public land access. If you can wait till I get back from Wyoming, I'll get back to you.
