I have a property that I am going to set up a 200 yard range on. Although I don't have limitless options, I can set it up directionally somewhat. Looking North, looking South? Consider predominant wind direction? I am in Mississippi at approximately 475' altitude if that would make a difference. Any help or experience appreciated.

I have a 200 yard range on my property. The placement was dictated by the geography, and the far target is against a 30' dirt bank.
I shoot south, so the rising or setting sun is not a factor. Prevailing winds are from the west, but are seldom a real factor. But, we have to learn to deal with winds while hunting anyway, so it's not bad to practice during a windy day. Our gun club's range is shooting North. I don't think I would want one east or west because of the sun.
