Can of worms...There are tons. Have you done some research into certain ones yet? Non-typical outfitters is very well known for taking big bucks, but is also usually booked out years in advance. They are also known for Stretching the laws to get things done...but im not gonna go into that on here. . Trefren outfitters, Double Diamond outfitters, Salt River Range outfitters, 5K outfitters....etc..I hunt G DIY, and never guided down there when i was guiding. But i know of most these outfitters. In general, i think these would all be a good starting point, and calling and talking to them will be beneficial to you. Most importantly for YOU, ask for references from both hunters who were successful and those who were NOT! You want to hear both sides of the story from multiple clients to get a good idea of what the outfit is really like. Ask them how many guides are new each year/ returning guides? Do they hunt from a camp or truck and trailer every day? If there are other outfitters you have researched, feel free to throw them out or shoot me a PM and ill do my best to tell you what i know about them.

We used 5kouttfitters this year. We both killed but earned it. They are crazy hard workers. 3am breakfast and on your horse by 5 for a couple hours. Stayed out all day. They worked as hard as they could. They do seem to like to hunt more in the morning than night. One buck was 175" and 35" wide and a couple sticker points. But you have to shoot distance to kill a stud buck. Fun hunt and amazing country. More affordable than nontypical and we saw some none typical guides while we were out in the same areas. If u don't like riding a horse don't even go. You will not like it much. Many guys got pretty worn out by the horses and stayed home a day or two of the hunt because they could barely move. Pm me if you want any more info. I loved every minute of it. I plan to go again and be in better horse shape. Lol.
