Region D

I've hunted region D four times in the past but its been 6 yrs since I last hunted it. I have 2 deer points but that won't get me into G or a good limited draw area. I see they made some units in D a special draw. Has anyone hunted it lately and what are your thoughts on it. I may pick it in the left over draw . Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I can't tell you how the northern part of D is, but the part down by Laramie is still pitiful. I spend a couple weeks out in the Snowy Range elk hunting last fall and saw 12 deer, only one had antlers and it was a spike.
