Been hunting Wyoming for years and have never done this: Apply for reduced price Doe/fawn antelope tags WITHOUT applying for a buck tag. I have always added them to my buck tag application. I know you can do it, but will they take my pref points that I have accumulated for antelope?

I am planning on hunting deer in 2018 and want to shoot a couple of doe antelope while I'm there. I want to save my antelope points for a later hunt as I don't have enough to draw the unit I want for a buck.

It's been awhile since I looked at the licensing page, but I am pretty sure it's an entire different application. Meaning you would not use your PP when applying for the doe tags.

So when you apply for buck tags, you can apply for reduced cost doe tags for the same unit?
Also, what's the cost of that tag?

2 doe tags in initial draw then you can pick up 2 extra doe tags in the leftover draw. Any units you want to apply for. Best price for some great meat anywhere.

Depends for cow elk. Type 6 or 7 is in a completely different draw from the bull tags just like it is for antelope. However, there are also type 4 cow elk tags that would cost you your points and are in the same draw as bull tags.
