Question On Region G

I haven't been on here for quit sometime but I have a question for all. I have been hunting in region H for the past several years and have been thinking about going over to Region G. My question is, where would be a good road to get to a spot where a guy can find a trail to head up to the big country and get away from the 4 wheelers? I am not looking for spots to go just a starting point in Region G to load up the pack and get going in. I was looking at the strawberry creek area and hike up towards Haystack Peak or hiking in off of willow creek towards Rock Lake Peak. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Thanks,

Hopefully you've gotten PM replies, but I was wondering how many points you have? I have also hunted H several times and was considering going to G to look for something bigger, but was told "578 people applied for G in the Special Draw with a 0% success rate. 3 points was 98%. "

Another reply was "You will not lose your points unless you draw 1st choice. While you could have drawn Region G with 2 points 3-4 years ago now you will only have about a 6-10% chance in the regular draw and a 12-15% chance in the more expensive special draw. It has gained a lot of popularity over the last few years. You won't draw Region H as a 2nd choice in the regular draw but you could have a chance if you put up the extra money for the special draw. Your points don't count toward second choices so you would be behind those with 0 points that list Region H as their 1st choice." The special draw is 240.00 more and for me only increases my odds slightly if I'm understanding this correctly.
