Public Hunting Areas (closer to Denver)

Hello all-

I have been a resident of CO for a while, but finally getting back into hunting.

A few of us are looking for some public land for dove that isn't too far from Denver- trying to stay within 2 hours.

Also interested in good public hunting areas for squirrels.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Exactly what Scott said I live in Colorado and I bought my Colorado on x map chip a couple of years ago... it's all I use now and I have one for Wyoming too. Way too simple to find out public and private lands.... make sure you get it updated every year.
