So after sucking up my pride I've decided to reach out here for some help. I drew a awesome elk tag for WY area 54 type 1 and am looking for someone to hunt with. To give you a quick backstory, I just moved back to Powell this past Jan from being stationed on the east coast for the Past 12 yr's. I moved back because I was retired from the military for a back injury, that I have had operated on this march, which has left me behind the power curve in getting ready for elk season. My main concern or I should say my wife's concern is the bears in the area. I wasn't concerned initially after having been out here growing up and being around the bears, but after scouting the past month or so, I've encountered a lot of bears and bear sign, which has me nervous about hunting on my own. So Im just seeing if anyone in the area is looking for someone to partner with. I mentioned the part about my back to let you know that I do have limitations, but I can pack out a load and still do my fair share of hiking (just might be a little slower!!). Thanks.
