I have 2 questions for everyone.
1) Why does the state of WY make you apply for a hard-to-draw unit if you don't really want to hunt it just so you can hunt somewhere without using your points. It seems to me they are unnecessarily forcing the draw odds down is some units from people who don't really want to hunt there in the first place. Why not allow someone to purchase points and hunt on a general or doe/cow tag while they build points? Other states may be the same way but it just seems like they could improve the odds for several units by doing this.
2) I know there is a separate tag for youth, but do they have a separate draw as well. I'm wondering if a cousin of my could have a better chance at a bull tag and we could go with him on a cow tag while we wait. Thanks for the input.
