Last year I went on my first Mule Deer hunt, we went into the Medicine Bow area and spent fives days near the encampment river wilderness, we saw plenty of does and a couple of little forks but no shooters, and plenty of people. This year we were thinking of moving to the second week of Oct. but the full moon falls on the 11 which is Tues. What is worse dealing with people or having a full moon during the week. Clear skies and full moons in IL mean slow days for whitetales. Also checked out the Vulcan Mtn. area last year and it looked like it had some really nice looking foothills, any info on this area, we didnt see many people around there, is that because there are no deer?
