If you ever do make sure you send it to a good predator taxidermist. They are usually messed up bad lol

How much does a bob pelt go for now a days? NV, how far from town (Reno) are you trapping? I would love to get in to it but I know it is one hell of a commitment and I assume all the good trapping is at least 3hrs from town.

congrats nvarcher. two cat days are great, dead one on his back has a nice wide belly and looks like little if any off color hourglass if the picture shows it right. Is he a 40+inch cat? should be a top end cat. Thanks for sharing.

Actually I live in Fernley but it's about an hour from my house including unloading quads off the trailer and everything maybe a little less. This year they'll probably average $400. Couple years back there was a $650 average. It is quite a commitment but you could definitely trap close to town.

And no they were 36" and 37" cats. Little smaller than the 44" Tom last year haha.
